Wouldn't you know it. I was just getting back into the groove of updating my diary on a fairly active basis when my computer died. Pharmacist alex was insitant that I have a sound card so that I could hear the audio for all the files and links he sends me. Well never send a mac guy to fix a pc. He put in some spare sound card he had and he completely killed my computer. I was pissed. The thing was 5-6 years old but it was still working. I reluctantly took the opportunity to upgrade and bought myself a new dell desktop. I'm happy with the computer, just a little bitter still that I had to shell out a bunch of money when my old one was working fine as a mute. So I guess I've already spent a chunk of my tax return before I've even gotten it.

Since it has been so long, I'm going to be brief and just cover the highlights. Hopefully I'll get back into the habit of updating a couple of times a week.

I had dinner with my friend Hind from high school. She moved out to chicago last year and had found me on myspace in december. It was great seeing her and i'm hoping we hang out again in the future.

I mentioned before that I joined facebook, well I'm still resisting its so called addictive power. Although it is strange who is friending me. So is the concept of the site to find anybody and everybody that you have ever known in your life no matter how long ago or what your relationship was? I have people contacting me and I'm just thinking, "we weren't friends when we saw eachother daily for years, and now you want to be my friend?" Maybe its just petty bitterness on my part. But maybe not.

St. Patricks Day. Oh my the fun. I still need to swipe the pictures off of cindy's camera. Oh, and for once, I wasn't the hot mess at the end of the night, haha.

We have a pair of pigeons that decided to take up residency on our back stairs. We tried our best to shoo them off. This week they built a nest and just laid a pair of eggs. As much as we hate these rats with wings, we're having issues destroying a nest with eggs in it. Maybe I'll see if maintenance can do it...

I went to see Zita spin at Ontourage a couple weeks ago. I will never go back. That club was horrible! The crowd was trashy and I think a good deal of them were from the burbs. And young too! I don't often feel old out at a bar/club, but I did that night. I arrived by myself since the only other person going that night was Agata and she was coming from the west burbs. As usual, Agata was late so I ended up sitting on the stage by myself as the place gradually started filling up. Thankfully Zita saved me and invited me into the booth with her so I wouldn't have to be there alone. I was so LiLo to her SamRo.

I'm really hating work. Really.

Cindy just got a new job! She starts on monday. She's really excited about it.

Allison is coming to town this wednesday so i'm trying to prep my apt for her visit as well as fill up an itinterary for her visit.
